Students should wear gloves, socks, a long-sleeved sweatshirt and track pants for every lesson.
Students should arrive at the ice rink 15 minutes before the lesson starts.
Student cards should be used for entry on the lesson day. A HK$10 administration fee will be charged to students who forget to bring their student card.
Lockers are available for storage. Token for locker is available at the ticket office at HK$7 each.
Rental skates must be returned to the Skate Rental Counter before exit.
Commencement date of the Semi-private, Group and Stroking Course will be confirmed when the minimum number of students for the course has been met. In the event of student withdrawals before the course starts, the commencement date can only be re-confirmed when the minimum student member requirement is met.
Once the course starts, the course fee is neither refundable nor transferable. It is refundable only if a written cancellation notice is submitted seven working days prior to course commencement. A HK$50 administration fee shall be deducted from the refunded course fee.
Group Course and Stroking Course lessons will be conducted as scheduled. No rescheduling request will be accommodated. Absentee students forsake all missed lessons.
Private and Semi-private lessons are valid for a total of six weeks only (Lesson is allowed to extend for one week only and in case of all Semi-private lessons student agree with this arrangement) after which the balance will be forfeited. No refund for forfeited lesson. Lesson enquiries and Private/Semi-Private lesson cancellation may be done by skating school. 24 hours advance notice is required on all Private/Semi-private lesson cancellations. Cancellation due to sickness can be processed on the lesson day with doctor certificate.
Lessons will be cancelled when the Black Rainstorm Warning Signal or Typhoon Signal No. 8 or above is hoisted. Students will be notified of the rescheduled lesson accordingly.
To ensure smooth transition to subsequent courses, students are recommended to pay for the next course in advance in either the 3rd or 4th lesson of the existing course.
Accidents can occur during any recreational activity, and both beginners and high-level skaters are exposed to the risk of injury in the ice rink owing to the miscalculation of themselves or other skaters. Interested parties should take this into full consideration before enrolment. The rink operator, owners and management cannot be held responsible for any injuries during lessons.
Students must read and comply with the accident disclaimer and skating safety rules and regulations for skaters before lessons start.
Parents are recommended to accompany their children during the lessons and at all times in the rink. Parents are also recommended to collect their children at the entrance of the rink when each lesson ends.
Students who forget to bring their student card will be charged HK$10 for a temporary card. HK$50 will be charged for the replacement of a lost card.
